FIND YOUR STARTING POINT

One question at a time.
A whole world to explore.

Choose a course and jump into a lesson.
No account, paywall, or perfect starting point required.

AP Precalculus Unit 4 is clearly marked as outside the AP exam. Each course has its own lesson menu, so you can revisit an idea without starting over.

SOMETHING YOU CAN USE TODAY

Less guessing.
More understanding.

Whether you have ten minutes or a whole afternoon,
there’s a place to begin.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO GET IT ALL AT ONCE

A way forward,
even when you’re stuck.

  1. 01

    Start with one idea.

Pick the lesson closest to what you’re learning. Read an example and ask why each step works.

  2. 02

    Give it a try.

Work on paper, use a hint if you need one, and compare your reasoning with the explained answer.

  3. 03

    Bring the question with you.

If you need more support, tell us your subject and where you’re stuck through the interest form.

A LITTLE LOOK INSIDE

More than “just move it over.”

Every step should have a reason.

2(x + 3) = 14Start with the equation.
x + 3 = 7Divide both sides by 2 to keep them equal.
x = 4Subtract 3 from both sides.
Check it: 2(4 + 3) = 14. It works.

ROOTED IN SEVA

Knowledge grows
when we share it.

Seva means selfless service. For us, it means showing up for the next curious mind.

Seva Scholars brings students, volunteer tutors, families, and gurdwaras together around learning. We want asking for help to feel natural—and sharing what you know to be another way to serve our sangat.

Our resources are open to anyone who wants to learn. Curiosity is enough to get started.

More about our mission

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Before you
jump in.

Is everything free?

Yes. Seva Scholars provides free learning resources, tutoring, and mentorship. Lessons, practice, and PDF downloads are available without a subscription.

Do I need an account to use the lessons?

No. Open a course, choose a unit and lesson, and begin. You can reveal worked answers and download the PDFs without signing in.

How do I ask about tutoring?

Use the interest form to tell us your subject and what you’d like help with. It sends your details directly to Seva Scholars so we can follow up about available support.

Can I reserve a class right now?

The class calendar is an experimental preview with sample sessions and browser-only demo reservations. It does not hold real tutoring spots yet. Use the interest form to ask about tutoring while we develop the live schedule.

What if I’m behind or don’t know where to start?

Start with the topic that feels closest to your question. Revisit an earlier lesson whenever you need it, or tell us what you’re working on through the interest form. You don’t need to know everything before asking for help.

One question can be the beginning.
